With over 15 years of research experience across China and Australia, Chen brings a strong mix of strategic thinking, methodological rigour and cross-cultural understanding. She supports clients by delivering evidence-based insights that are practical, meaningful and actionable, and is experienced in managing end-to-end research programs efficiently.
Chen works across the full research lifecycle using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Her recent work includes Brand and Communications research, Usage and Attitudes studies, Customer Experience (CX) and Net Promoter Score (NPS) programs, and New Product Development (NPD) research. She has worked across a broad range of sectors, including banking and insurance, FMCG, supermarkets, real estate, travel, mining and resources, media, as well extensive experience in social and government research, helping turn data into clear insights that help inform strategy and decision-making.
Prior to SEC Newgate, Chen worked at Fifth Dimension, Ipsos and TNS/Kantar, working with both commercial and public-sector organisations across a variety of industries and markets.
She holds a Master of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from East China Normal University in Shanghai, China.
